Dr. Skaggs is passionate about skin cancer prevention and treatment. When he’s not helping patients, Robert is active in the local community, including several appearances in the news. While skin cancer is entirely avoidable, there are steps we can all take to understand the risks and prevent severe cases.
Dr. Skaggs discusses the importance of protecting your skin during the spring and summer since people spend more time outside during the warmer seasons. Always have sunblock (SPF 30 or greater) and clothing, including a hat, to prevent harmful rays from damaging your skin!
